Red Booties are this year’s Holiday Statement.
For me, shoes are the easiest way to make a statement in an outfit. That might be why I’ve collected more shoes than could ever possibly fit in an organized way in my apartment. I just can’t resist an over the knee boot or fun patterned bootie. My most recent addition is these red booties that I picked up as the easiest way to add a little holiday feeling into any outfit.
Since I know bright red boots seem a bit intimidating to style I thought I’d show y’all two ways you could wear them from a dressed up holiday get together to a day at home with the fam. The key really is to stick to neutrals for the rest of your outfit, though if you can find pieces with hints of red to play up – like the orangey red in this houndstooth skirt or a plaid blazer.
