Coffee Break N.12

Loved this shot from my quick trip back home to Massachusetts this weekend for Easter! Sadly, flowers outside flower shops are really the only sign of spring in Boston – Here’s hoping we’re not too far away.

Guys, J.Crew has some reallyyyy cute stuff for spring to the point where I feel like I could create my whole spring / summer wardrobe from their new arrivals – something I haven’t said in probably 8 years. They’re also having a few great deals right now – up to 30% off almost everything as well as up to 40% off dresses and swim!

I’m heading down to Washington DC this weekend and need MAJOR recommendations for brunch, dinner, and sweet snacks 🙂 While it will be a quick 36-hour trip I’m determined to make the most of the city (specifically delicious food!).

If you’re not sick of seeing straw bags (hope not because if so you have a long summer again), I found a few great Clare V look alikes for under $50! A black option can be found here and a white one here! I’ve already brought home the black one, but might have the pull the trigger on the white one too!

I’ve been on the hunt for a new TV show for a while now and just settled down on The Looming Tower on Hulu. If you look historical or political TV this one is for you! Forewarning though, this isn’t a multi tasking kind of show though unless you want to miss important details!

We’ve all had those months where life is crazy and our mental health is put on the back burner – but I love that this article put together 5 signs that mean you need a mental break – for me the most important to recognize are number two and four.

Dana wrote about learning how to define success on your own terms and it is the perfect summary of how we all need to reset and measure success without having to look to others.

With potential goals to be self-employed (in the way far distance) I loved Meghan’s post on how self-employment changed her life.

P.S I continusouly save my favorite #careergirlreads to THIS board on Pinterest!
