This is a ROUGH Monday friends. In case I haven’t said it enough times, I’m a life long Patriots fan so last night was disappointing to say the least. I’ve decided to try and focus on how amazing JT was and the fact that Kylie Jenner had a baby (like have you watched the video yet? If not go right now and watch). Real life – I’ve been binging all JT since the moment the Super Bowl ended and am this close to buying tickets to his next NYC concert. So like I said, focusing on the good things (as I cry internally).
Now about this look from last week. As I mentioned, I’ve really been trying to get out of my clothing comfort zone and hats are on the top of my too scared to wear list. Even though I have a pretty large collection of hats, they pretty much spend their lives hung on my wall. Then a couple weeks ago I spotted this hat and as much as I told myself I didn’t need another hat that would just take up space, I kept coming back to it. So I made a pact to myself that if I bought it I had to break it out at least twice over the next month while it’s still the right weather for a wool hat. While my roommate thinks this hat makes me look like Indiana Jones (and I mean I can’t totally disagree) I happen to think it takes this somewhat mundane look to the next level. It’s seriously the perfect accessory to make any look, even jeans and a tshirt, look chic so now I’m sold and you may see hats on here a bit more often. I’m especially excited to break out some of my straw hats as the weather warm up here in the city!
