Travel: A Day in Ogunquit Maine

Prepare yourself for an overload of pictures… When I finally booked tickets home for the fourth the first thing my dad asked was if there was anything I was dying to do. I automatically asked if we could drive up to Maine for a day, specifically Ogunquit. My family has been taking trips up there ever since we moved to Massachusetts eight years ago and over the years it has become one of my favorite spots. The routine is always the same. We start with lunch at Barnacle Billy’s (for Lobster Rolls of course), then wander through town a bit, and finish off the day with a walk along the Marginal Way. I lucked out and picked a perfect weekend to head up to New England because the weather was absolutely beautiful and I got my much needed city escape.
If you’re ever in need of an escape like I was take a trip up to Ogunquit. It’s less than an hour and a half drive from Boston and really has the quintessential New England nautical feel that everyone looks for.
Also, for everyone out there who’s re-adjusting to a 5 day work week after the holiday last week, we are half way there! You can do it.

This year, my first full year of “adulthood”, was full of experiences and friends that I’m so incredibly grateful for ❤️ I checked new cities off my bucket list, celebrated 1 year full-time at rewardStyle, spent the best fall days in Central Park, and welcomed Gracie girl to the family 🐶 Now let’s see what 2019 has in store 👏🏼
