This change has been a looonnggg time coming, but I’m so excited to finally share the new When and Wear with you all! I always like to stay pretty simple with my blog design, so all the new features should be pretty self explanatory but the best part of this little update is actually behind the scenes. Those of you with blogs know that the Blogger to WordPress switchover can be daunting at best even though everyone who does it says it is worth it one hundred times over. I’ve been intimidated by this change for over a year, but knew it was time to finally put in the time to be able to have more control and grow my little piece of the internet. I’m still figuring out a few bugs and doing some of the manual editing of old posts (insert eye roll), so please let me know if you are having any problems with the site! With the new site I’m also excited for the coming months as I have some great content planned for the rest of fall and the upcoming holidays!

I posted earlier this fall about my list of fall classics and a plaid blazer is the newest edition to this list! Plaid blazers are popping up all over the internet this fall, but it took me a while to find one that was both light enough to layer and affordable enough to not ruin my bank account. After a few weeks of searching I finally found this blazer for under $50 and it’s been in constant rotation ever since. Not only does it look great with a casual jeans and t-shirt look (my forever go-to), but I’ve also been able to dress it up for meetings with my favorite silk blouse and either black jeans or flowy trousers.
