The First of Many Spring Dresses

The girly girl in me has seriously come out this spring with all things floral, bright, and ruffled!

As per usual though, NYC isn’t cooperating weather wise so I’m having to find a few creative ways to break out my warm weather purchases. Even with the cold temps this floral dress (on sale under $50) has already made it out of the closet twice this spring – once for weekend brunching with Kate and once for a spring themed work event. To hide my pale winter legs and stay warm I paired it with classic OTK boots and then threw a denim jacket on top to keep things casual!

When it comes to picking out dresses for early spring I like to look for either long sleeves or heavier fabrics to keep them a bit more seasonally appropriate. Bring out the spring feeling with fun patterns and shapes – florals, pleats, and even polka dots have been my favorites lately. I’ve compiled a few of my favorites under $60 right now below, so let the spring shopping begin!
