I am SO ready for a little holiday decor!

This holiday season I’ve definitely been bitten by the decorating bug. I got home (am I supposed to call it ‘my parents’ house now?) to Massachusetts on Saturday night and by Sunday morning I was tearing everything apart to start decorating for the holidays. Then my roommates texted me about getting a tree and I went full blown decorating crazy. I can’t stop imagine how adorable our apartment could look all done up for Christmas, but since I can’t decide whether we should go with a more modern chic or classic lumberjack look I thought I’d share the options with you all! Which do you prefer? My must-haves for starting your holiday decor collection are a festive throw, embroidered pillows, and something that adds a little sparkle or light! While NYC apartments have neither the floor space or the storage space (if you’re going to the fake route) for a tree I think we’re going to get one and figure out the logistics later.

I did a fun little shoot yesterday with some of my my favorite holiday pieces we’ve found so far and I’ll be sharing it next week once we’ve hit true Christmas Season (aka after Thanksgiving is over). It was so much fun and I’m truly having the hardest time not posting all the images right away! The above picture is a bit of a sneak peak, but there is so much more to come!
